The design and delivery of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) is at the core of special education (it’s what makes special ed, “special”).
But what does SDI look like for special educators through remote/eLearning? And, how can related service practitioners (AT/OT/SLP) support the process?
We’ll demonstrate how SDI can be delivered through a combination of accommodations / assistive technology and sample lessons and resources including:
- Free: Highly Visual & engaging informational texts
- Free: UDL & SDI eLearning Template integrating Standards-based goals and IEP goals.
- Student-led video demonstrations of Snap & Read and Co:Writer for use in the lesson.
Fill out the form and receive the recording and the eLearning template and access to eLearning resources including informational text to implement SDI.
