Unpacking Dysgraphia… where to begin

Presented by: Ruth Ziolkowski, OTR

About the Webinar

Every writer has felt breakdowns in the writing process, but for students with dysgraphia, those breakdowns can be ongoing and severe and include:

  • Difficulties with spelling
    Poor handwriting
    Trouble putting thoughts on paper

Writing barriers can prevent these students from realizing their true potential. At this webinar, Ruth Ziolkowski, OTR will share an understanding of dysgraphia and outline a plan to help you address dysgraphia by:

  1. Screening students using a 1-minute process
  2. Identifying specific areas where students struggle through a formative assessment tool
  3. Matching the needs of individual students to targeted instruction and accommodation tools
